Method development of quercitrin enrichment from asthma-plant (Euphorbia hirta L.) using aromatic macroporous resin

نویسندگان

چکیده

Asthma-plant contains high amount of quercitrin which make it a potential new source for flavonoids. This study aims to develop method enrichment by utilizing macroporous resin, is known be safer, more eco-friendly, economics, and efficient. Evaluations were conducted over the performance separation characteristics resin in as well adsorption desorption resin. The results showed that process relation extract accordance with second order model, means affected other compounds. Furthermore, examination isotherm fit Freundlich’s model (R2 = 0.9850) rather than Langmuir’s one 0.4334). In optimal condition, using increased abundance nearly five times, from 3.60% content 17.02% quercitrin-rich fraction, recovery yield 50.39%.

Anatomical Characteristics of Stem and Leaf in Euphorbia hirta L

The stem and leaf anatomical studies of Euphorbia hirta L. were conducted for finding identical traits. The fresh hand sections were stained with safranin and examined under light microscope. Cross section of the stem has a circular shape where epidermis was uniseriate and isodiametric. Cortex was distinctly formed with about 5-6 rows composed of chlorenchyma and found laticifers. Tracheary ele...

Behavioral effects of Euphorbia hirta L.: sedative and anxiolytic properties.

Lyophilised aqueous extract of Euphorbia hirta L. (Euphorbiaceae) has been evaluated for behavioral effects in mice. The extract did not induce any toxic effect when it was administered i.p. and orally. Sedative properties could be confirmed with high doses (100 mg of dried plant/kg, and more), by a decrease of behavioral parameters measured in non-familiar environment tests (activitest and sta...
